Dr. Michael Lee performs knee surgery on Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Brad Ziegler

Michael Lee, MD, was tapped to perform knee surgery on Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Brad Ziegler, according to a report from The Arizona Republic.

Mr. Ziegler underwent a routine knee procedure on Tuesday, but found he had a microfracture that needed additional work. Dr. Lee performed the initial procedure. Recovery from the microfracture surgery will take longer, but the team expects him to return for spring training.
