Metalmark’s investment in Collagen Matrix will provide the resources, expertise and capital needed to continue to grow the business. As part of the transaction, the company’s management team, including founder, Shu-Tung Li, PhD, will remain with the company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Collagen Matrix focuses on the design and engineering of collagen-and mineral-based extracellular matrices for tissue and organ repair and regeneration. Its products include OssiMend Bone Graft Matrix and DuraMatrix-Onlay Conformable Collagen Dura Substitute Membrane.
