CaroMont Regional Medical Center (Gastonia, N.C.). CaroMont Regional Medical Center, a 435-bed hospital that anchors Gastonia-based CaroMont Health’s vast network of physician practices and urgent care and emergency facilities, was established in 1946. The hospital offers two orthopedic Joint Care Plus programs: a comprehensive program offered across all of the health system’s facilities, and a second offered through CaroMont’s Human Motion Institute. The facility also participates in Medicare’s CJR bundled payment program.
