10 best hospitals for pediatric orthopedics: US News ranking

U.S. News & World Report named the 50 best children’s hospitals for treating complex fractures, scoliosis, spina bifida and sports injuries in pediatric patients.

The rankings are largely based on each hospital’s success with complex fractures, surgical complications and infection prevention, along with other data collected from clinical survey of children’s orthopedic centers. U.S. News also took expert opinion and specialist referrals into account.

The top 10 hospitals for pediatric orthopedics:

1. Boston Children’s Hospital
2. Children’s Medical Center Dallas-Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children
3. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
4. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
5. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
6. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
7. Rady Children’s Hospital (San Diego)
8. UC Davis Children’s Hospital/Shriners Hospitals for Children-Northern California (Sacramento)
9. Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus, Ohio)
10. Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston)
