The Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, which is within Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, is the only dedicated hospital for neuroscience in the Philadelphia region. The neuroscience hospital launched the Jefferson Neuroscience Network, which connects patients and physicians at regional hospitals with experts at Jefferson who can help diagnose neurological disorders, as well as Jefferson Expert Teleconsulting, which provides member hospitals with day and night access to vascular neurologists and neurosurgeons for emergency consultative purposes.
