The 160,000 square-foot East Tower houses 12 operating rooms, one OR dedicated to cesarean sections, 18 private intensive care unit rooms and 23 family-centered private rooms. The project also included seven labor, delivery and recovery rooms that opened in February.
The second phase of construction will include modernizing the main portion of the hospital over the next 18 months.
