The hospital is also the third in the Eastern U.S., after Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and Cleveland Clinic, to have two of these state-of-the art rooms. The hybrid ORs will be used exclusively for cardiac and vascular procedures.
The first room opened yesterday, and the second room will open this summer.
