New Gown May Prevent Hypothermia in the OR

A new pediatric patient warming gown designed to prevent hypothermia in the operating room has been introduced, according to a news release.

It is estimated that preventing inadvertent hypothermia and subsequent complications in the OR can save a hospital up to $7,000 per patient, according to the release.
