Knox Community Hospital in Ohio Breaks Ground on $7.5M OR Addition

Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio, has broken ground on a $7.5 million expansion of its surgical department, according to a hospital news release.

The project will add a sixth operating room to accommodate more surgeries. Inpatient and outpatient surgical cases at Knox Community Hospital have increased nearly 19 percent since 2008, according to the release. The hospital will also upgrade electrical and HVAC systems for the entire building.
