The 65,000-square-foot facility will include treatment areas for radiation oncology, medical oncology, pharmacy and a laboratory; physician offices; a mobile PET/CT scanning unit; and room for future growth.
The new center is part of the health system’s “strategic regional growth” in oncology care, said Community Hospital South President Tony Lennen in the release.
Community Health Network plans to open the center in the fall of 2013.
