New York-Presbyterian, Weill Cornell Establish Prostate Cancer Center

New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College in New York have established the Center for Prostate Cancer at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Medical Center in New York.

The center will be dedicated to research into and treatment of prostate cancer. The center’s clinical services will include diagnostic methods such as fusion biopsy, focal therapy for localized tumors and refined imaging techniques. Research activities at the center will include tissue banking, genomics and outcomes data.

Ashutosh Tewari, MD, the current director of the LeFrak Center for Robotic Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, will lead the center.
