Charleston Area Medical Center to Break Ground on $39M Cancer Center in January

Charleston (W.Va.) Area Medical Center plans to break ground on a new $39 million cancer center in Kanawha City, W.Va., in January, according to a Charleston Daily Mail report.

CAMC plans to break ground on a cancer center in January.The new cancer center (rendering pictured right) will replace CAMC’s current David Lee Cancer Center at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston.

The project is expected to take 18 months, with an opening date of 2014.
