6 systems opening, expanding and breaking ground on cancer centers

Here are six recent cancer center openings, ground breakings and expansions:

  1. Orion Cancer Center and the Armes Family Cancer Care Center, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System based in Findlay, Ohio, are merging.

  2. Paducah, Ky.-based Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital broke ground on its $12.5 million, 19,000-square-foot cancer center.

  3. Centura St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, Colo., broke ground on its cancer center expansion.

  4. OSF Bobette Steely Hegeler Cancer Care Center in Danville, Ill., entered phase two of expansions with $750,000 worth of renovations.

  5. Covenant Regional Thumb Network will open a cancer center at Marlette (Mich.) Regional Hospital.

  6. The Miami Valley Hospital South Comprehensive Cancer Center completed its expansions, which included 14 infusion bays.
