Here are five oncologists starting new roles since Oct. 25:
- Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center named Dr. John Rimmer medical director of its comprehensive breast cancer program.
- Antonio Iavarone, MD, was appointed deputy director of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
- Dr. Revathi Suppiah, joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America Phoenix as a hematologist and medical oncologist.
- Medical oncologist Tiffany Shaw, MD, joined Pasadena, Calif.-based Huntington Cancer Center as the regional medical director for supportive care medicine.
- Radiation oncologist Dioval Remonde, MD, joined Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Center for Cancer Treatment and Research.
