Dr. Engolio succeeds Sue Westbrook, DNS, RN, who held the position for 18 years, according to a Jan. 3 news release from the university.
Dr. Engolio joined Nicholls in 2019 as a department head for the college of nursing. Previously, she was an assistant and associate professor at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans for 12 years.
