APP leader to become chief nursing officer of nursing group

The American Nurses Enterprise appointed Bradley Goettl, DNP, RN, as chief nursing officer, effective April 21.

Dr. Goettl most recently served as interim co-executive director and chief clinical officer of the Emergency Nurses Association, according to an April 4 ANE news release. Before that, he served as the director of advanced practice provider fellowships programs at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, as well as administrative lead APP in the department of emergency medicine at UT Southwestern San Antonio.

The American Nurses Enterprise includes the American Nurses Association, the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Nurses Foundation.
