Texas Children’s Plans for New Woodlands Facility

Houston-based Texas Children’s Hospital has announced it will break ground in January 2014 on a new children’s hospital in The Woodlands, a community within the Houston metro area, according to a report from Community Impact Newspaper.

The new hospital is awaiting approval from the hospital system’s board of directors. The decision will be made in November, according to the report.

If approved, the new expansion would open in 2017.
