Susan Whitehurst has joined TeleTracking Technologies as managing director of its consulting services branch.
Ms. Whitehurst is a former Joint Commission Resources consultant and lean management hospital process expert. She is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
At TeleTracking she will use her expertise in lean management to improve delivery of care, reduce resource waste and maximize operational efficiency, according to a news release.
Ms. Whitehurst has had 28 years of experience in intensive care nursing and hospital administration in Raleigh, N.C.-based Duke University Medical Center.
