ACHE Announces 2014 Award Recipients

The American College of Healthcare Executives named the recipients for its 2014 awards.

Charles Evans and Christopher Van Gorder received the Gold Medal Award, the highest ACHE honor given to fellows of the ACHE who exhibit the best examples of leadership.

Mr. Evans is president and CEO of International Health Services Group and senior advisor of Jackson Healthcare, both in Alpharetta, Ga.

Mr. Van Gorder is president and CEO of San Diego-based Scripps Health.

Delvecchio Finley, CEO of Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Calif., received the Robert S. Hudgens Memorial Award for Young Healthcare Executive of the Year, awarded to an outstanding healthcare executive under 40 years old.
