Nine young adults were arrested during the protest and released early Friday, according to the report.
The coalition demonstrated in front of Chicago’s Ritz Carlton hotel, where the school was holding a fundraiser. The goal was to motivate donors to boycott funding the university until it opens a trauma center, according to the report.
The university began investigating the need for a South Side trauma center in January.
