Todd Steward Named CEO of Texas’ St. David’s South Austin Medical Center

Todd Steward, a healthcare veteran, has been named CEO of St. David’s South Austin Medical Center in Texas. Mr. Steward had previously been CEO of North Suburban Medical Center in Denver, Colo., for six years, according to a report in the Austin Business Journal.

Mr. Steward is replacing Erol Akdamar, who left in January to become CEO of Medical City Dallas Hospital, according to the report.

The South Austin hospital is beginning a $72 million renovation this month that includes adding a three-story patient tower, 70 beds, and larger rooms for extended-stay patients.
