TeamHealth has announced the acquisition of Mobile Emergency Group, a physician group that provides services to the emergency departments of Mobile (Ala.) Infirmary Medical Center and North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette, Ala.
TeamHealth began providing staffing and administrative services to these emergency departments Dec. 15. The acquisition is part of TeamHealth's continued efforts to grow its Alabama operations.
Mobile Infirmary Medical and North Baldwin Infirmary are part of Mobile-based Infirmary Health System.
