Penn Medicine Rittenhouse Announces Data Breach Following Stolen Receipts

Penn Medicine Rittenhouse in Philadelphia has notified 661 patients of a potential data breach after receipts were stolen from an office in Pennsylvania Hospital, according to a Philly.com report.

The receipts may have contained patient names, birth dates and the last four digits of credit card numbers. There were no Social Security numbers, diagnoses, insurance numbers or full credit card numbers on the receipts, according to the report.
