Mississippi Hospital Board Considers Sale

The Adams County (Miss.) Board of Supervisors is considering the sale of county-owned Natchez (Miss.) Regional Medical Center, according to a report by the Natchez Democrat.

The sale would provide the county with a cash infusion, but is likely to cause layoffs, especially if the hospital merges with Health Management Associates’ Natchez Community Hospital, according to the report.
