Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar to Expand ER

Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar in Menomonie, Wis., announced that it will expand its emergency and urgent care department.

The 6,500-square-foot expansion will include seven exam rooms, two trauma rooms, three procedure rooms and two triage rooms.

The clinic received a $150,000 challenge grant from the Otto Bremer Foundation to support the expansion project. It is structured as a matching grant, which means that each donation made by community members or organizations will be matched up to $150,000 by the foundation.
