Maimonides Medical Center Implements Amcom's Enhanced Console, Directory Solutions

Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., has implemented Amcom's enhanced operator console, Web directory and on-call scheduling solutions to help the organization unify staff contact information.

Previously, the organization's operators had manually tracked which clinicians were on call on any given day. Now, each department inputs their own on-call information to provide a comprehensive resource for all Maimonides physicians and staff to easily find contact information for on-call physicians.

"It's all about accurate caregiver contact information," said Katy Desantis, telecommunications manager at Maimonides, in the news release.
