Columbus Regional Healthcare System in North Carolina Plans $57M Operating Suite

Whiteville, N.C.-based Columbus Regional Healthcare System plans on opening a $57 million operating suite, according to an article in The News Reporter.

The new addition will allow the hospital to offer more surgical services than before, and the current operating room will also be renovated, said Todd Howell, hospital finance officer. The new OR suite is one of the capital projects planned in the wake of refinancing the hospital’s bond debt, he said.
