Bon Secours Health Systems in Marriottsville, Md., recently received the Excellence Award from Premier healthcare alliance for its commitment to excellence and leadership in providing high quality and efficient care, according to a Premier news release.
"In determining the inaugural winner of this award, we looked across the entire alliance for the best representation of excellence and innovation in leadership," said Susan DeVore, president and CEO of Premier. "It was a difficult task, but Bon Secours stood out as having demonstrated a consistent drive for excellence and superior performance."
Bon Secours participates in Premier's Accountable Care Implementation Collaborative, which addresses care, coordination, efficiency, quality and patient satisfaction.
