Mr. Patterson served as interim CEO for BSCHS and previously was COO for the health system. He has also worked for Allina Hospitals & Clinics in Minneapolis, where he served as COO for Mercy Hospital in Minneapolis. In his new role, he will oversee the strategy, operations and performance of BSCHS, which includes three acute-care hospitals — Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, N.Y.; Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y.; and St. Anthony Community Hospital, Warwick, N.Y., according to the release.
Mr. Patterson holds an MBA from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in health administration from Georgia State University.
