The government claims UHS and two of its units, Keystone Education & Youth Services and Keystone Marion, provided substandard counseling and treatment in violation of Medicaid requirements. The services in question took place at Marion (Va.) Youth Center, a residential facility.
The Department of Justice also alleges that the facility falsified patient records and submitted false claims to Medicaid.
UHS officials were not available for comment at the time of the news report’s publication.
