Trinity Regional Health System CEO Resigns

Andrea Coleman, CEO of Trinity Regional Health System in Rock Island, Ill., has resigned, effective immediately, according to a Trinity Regional news release.

Ms. Coleman resigned to pursue opportunities outside Trinity Regional, according to the report. She joined Trinity in 2008.

Tom Tibbitts, a senior member of Trinity’s parent organization, Iowa Health System, will serve as interim CEO until the hospital board selects a permanent replacement.

Mr. Tibbitts most recently served as Iowa Health System’s vice president of system development. He also has served as president and CEO of Trinity Health Systems and president and CEO of Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
