Andrea Falzano, 39, pleaded guilty to withdrawing morphine, fentanyl and hydromorphone 412 times from the cabinet over a five-month period, according to an Aug. 4 Justice Department news release. She used information for 299 already discharged patients to withdraw the Schedule II controlled substances.
Ms. Falzano could face up to four years in prison, one year of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000 for the three counts of unlawfully obtaining controlled substances by fraud, deception and subterfuge. Her license was revoked in 2021.
