Mr. Laravillela, a U.S. Marine, was celebrating his birthday at a Dave and Buster’s restaurant when paramedics arrived at the scene to help another customer. Police said Mr. Laravillela checked several other cars in the restaurant’s parking lot before getting in a City of Utica ambulance and driving away.
He allegedly crashed into a police car, causing $5,000 worth of damage, according to authorities.
