Hoyle “Beau” Bowman was charged with telecommunications harassment and menacing after writing online in February that someone should kill Adena Health System President and CEO Jeff Graham and his wife. The comments, posted in a community news forum, contained the location of Mr. Graham’s home and suggested he and his wife be shot, according to NBC4.
In March, Mr. Bowman initially pleaded not guilty to the charges. In April, he accepted a plea deal in which the menacing charge was dropped in exchange for a guilty plea to harassment. He faces a $200 fine, two years probation and 200 hours of community service, according to the Scioto Valley Guardian.
Mr. Bowman served as executive director of the Adena Health Foundation for three years before his termination in December 2022.
