Man arrested after allegedly stealing ambulance from Ohio hospital

A man who allegedly stole an ambulance from outside Martins Ferry-based East Ohio Regional Hospital was arrested on multiple charges this week, according to a  Times Leader report.

Andrew Norman, 22, of Flushing, Ohio, allegedly stole the vehicle Tuesday while it was parked and running, according to the report. He was arrested after law enforcement officials saw the ambulance traveling on Interstate 70.

Mr. Norman faces charges of grand theft, receiving stolen property, obstructing official business, misconduct at an emergency and disrupting public services, according to the report, which cites Belmont County Jail information.
