The clinic, which offers diagnosis and treatment of non-life threatening conditions, is closing due to insufficient volume.
“When we first opened it, all the doctors in town were busy, so we thought there was a need for additional services. But the clinic isn’t as busy as we had anticipated it would be, so after trying it out for 18 months, we decided to close,” Benson Hospital CEO Ron McKinnon said in the report.
