The combined firm, which maintains the name Baker Donelson, is now comprised of more than 800 attorneys and advisors across 25 offices in 10 states, as well as Washington, D.C. In total, the newly combined firm has nearly 1,600 employees and 380 shareholders. There were no layoffs at either firm as a result of the merger.
The combined healthcare practice at Memphis, Tenn.-based Baker Donelson and Baltimore-based Ober Kaler, now known as Baker Ober Health Law, has nearly 200 attorneys.
Baker Donelson Chair and CEO Ben Adams and President and COO Jennifer P. Keller are maintaining their leadership positions in the combined firm.
