Las Vegas police identify officer, man involved in deadly shooting at University Medical Center

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police revealed the identities of the police officer and the man he fatally shot at Las Vegas-based University Medical Center, according to CBS-8 News.

Police officer Thomas Rybacki, 35, fatally shot Cody O’Bryan, 31, who was in custody at the hospital, early Monday morning after Mr. O’Bryan reportedly stole and pointed a Taser at Mr. Rybacki.

LVMPD reportedly placed Mr. Rybacki on paid administrative leave while police investigate the incident. Mr. Rybacki has worked at the department since 2014, the report states.
