Las Vegas Metropolitan Police revealed the identities of the police officer and the man he fatally shot at Las Vegas-based University Medical Center, according to CBS-8 News.
Police officer Thomas Rybacki, 35, fatally shot Cody O'Bryan, 31, who was in custody at the hospital, early Monday morning after Mr. O'Bryan reportedly stole and pointed a Taser at Mr. Rybacki.
LVMPD reportedly placed Mr. Rybacki on paid administrative leave while police investigate the incident. Mr. Rybacki has worked at the department since 2014, the report states.
