Any information entered into the federal health insurance exchange website will not be used for any other purpose than enrolling in plans or making or verifying eligibility determinations, according to the memo.
The policy is consistent with ICE’s practices, said spokeswoman Gillian Christensen in an WNCN report. ICE “is focused on sensible, effective immigration enforcement that prioritizes the removal of criminal aliens and egregious immigration law violators,” she said.
