The IRS will be the department responsible for both distributing subsidies to purchase individual coverage on the health insurance exchanges established by the PPACA, as well as collecting fines from individuals who do not buy coverage if required to under the law, according to the report.
The vote will be one of the last before the 113th Congress adjourns for its summer recess.
