States receiving funding include Arkansas, Colorado, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. The healthcare reform law has now awarded health insurance exchange grants to 33 states and the District of Columbia.
HHS also announced it would provide more transparency in the development of Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program demonstrations and more flexibility as states pursue their own strategies to provide residents with affordable health insurance.
