According to court documents, former CEO James Cheek and former senior vice president Herschel Breig pled guilty to charges of withholding more than $6 million in payroll taxes to the IRS for nine of 13 quarterly periods from January 2009 through April 2012.
During court proceedings on Sept. 15, prosecutors recommended each individual be sentenced to three years in prison, according to the article.
Mr. Brieg and Mr. Cheek took control of the hospital in 2008.
