If the legislation is approved by the House, the measure would be placed on Nov. 2012 election ballots. If approved, the measure would amend the state’s Constitution to block the federal individual mandate.
Legal experts, however, argue that federal legislation trumps state legislation, suggesting that the measure would be ineffective at overturning the individual mandate.
