Christine Chadderdon worked as a nurse manager for the Mayo Clinic facilities in Waseca, Janesville and Waterville, Minn. She resigned after finance staff began investigating travel expenses in her department.

Between 2015 and 2018, Ms. Chadderdon allegedly received nearly $72,000 in mileage reimbursements. A Mayo Clinic investigator estimated she should have received roughly $1,300 in mileage reimbursement during the three-year period.

Ms. Chadderdon allegedly submitted claims for trips she never made and inflated the number of miles traveled, according to the report.
