Ex-employee admits recording people using SD hospital's bathroom

Anthony Hall, a former employee of Rapid City (S.D.) Regional Hospital, pleaded guilty Tuesday to using a hidden camera to secretly photograph and film people using an employee bathroom in the hospital's rehabilitation unit, according to the Rapid City Journal.

Mr. Hall, 29, used the camera, which he hid inside of a bag, to photograph and record people in the bathroom Dec. 18-28, 2015, and the camera was discovered by security personnel Dec. 28.  He said in court this week he committed the offense "to see if he could get away with it," according to the report.

Mr. Hall pleaded guilty to five counts of use/dissemination of visual recording or photographic device without consent, and he faces up to one year in jail for each count. His sentencing is scheduled for July 12.
