The supervision change officially begins July 1 and means that the presence of a physician or non-physician practitioner will not be required for 27 outpatient therapeutic services that deal mostly with psychotherapy. Other services relate to bladder catheterization, immunization administration and smoking and tobacco cessation counseling.
