In its lawsuit, the OIG alleged CLP submitted claims for high complexity urine drug tests to Medicare that surpassed the number of units allowed by the government health program. The OIG further alleged CLP used a code to bypass computer programming that would have normally rejected the excess claims.

Although CLP has agreed to settle the allegations, there has been no admission of wrongdoing.
