However, that percentage drops significantly when the wording is framed in a slightly different way. Only 12 percent of people participating in the Kaiser survey expect to pay a “fine” when the health insurance requirements kick in beginning in 2014.
The Kaiser health tracking poll also asked participants questions about Medicaid expansion and overall feelings about the PPACA. Twenty-six percent of people surveyed said they have an opinion about the healthcare law, but there’s a chance they could change their minds; 20 percent surveyed said they have yet to decide how they feel about the landmark healthcare law.
