Two votes could come as early as June 4. The first House bill would repeal a 2.3 percent excise tax on medical devices; the second would relax restrictions on the use of health savings accounts to pay for nonprescription drugs without a physician prescription. Both are part of the PPACA.
In other healthcare law news, the House plans to vote May 30 on its version of the Food and Drug Administration bill. The Senate passed its version last week.
