Although the Court did not include Virginia’s case on its Monday list of orders, justices can issue “miscellaneous” orders for individual cases at any time, according to the report.
Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R), who is challenging the law’s individual mandate, has petitioned the court to expedite the case by skipping the appeals process, arguing that the importance of the law demands immediate review.
